Mikaela Shiffrin's first win of the season: for the second time in her career, the "Skieur d'Or"

The most awaited star, already thinking of the giant that will open the 2019/2020 World Cup, is really her.

Mikaela Shiffrin starts as the first favorite on the Rettenbach, for an opening in Soelden that sees the American champion in the spotlight of the media, opponents and fans. Even more so after the awarding that, in the early afternoon, sanctioned the assignment of the "Skieur d''Or" to the 24 year old of Vail; Mikaela won for the second time in her career (after 2017) the very coveted title devised by the International Association of Ski Journalists since 1963, beating Marcel Hirscher who had already triumphed four times in the past.
