Three races canceled, from Wednesday until today, but hope to save what would be the sixth descent of the World Cup season anyway. The weather is improving in Rosa Khutor, towards a passion Saturday with training scheduled in the early morning (8.00 Italian time, 10.00 local time) and mandatory to play the race, two and a half hours later (10.30 am) and with the 'extraction of the bibs in the middle, since it will take place 15 minutes after the end of the test, in a room behind the main grandstand in the parterre of the Olympic track. So today there was only the definition of the startlist for the test tomorrow morning, which will see eight blue at the starting gate: Elena Curtoni, winner last Saturday in Bansko, the first at the start with the number 5, then Sofia Goggia with the 7, Francesca Marsaglia with 10, Federica Brignone (14) and Nicol Delago (15), while Laura Pirovano will have 25, Nadia Delago on 33 and Verena Gasslitter on 43. Without Mikaela Shiffrin and Petra Vlhova on the track, we remember that the test (and therefore the race) will take place with the start lowered to the reserve start, reducing the descent by at least fifteen seconds. And that the crazy Russian weather that already blew up a year ago ... send us good.
