A quality Switzerland for the two Levi slaloms that will inaugurate the 2022/23 season for the Women's World Cup.
On Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 November, nine Swiss athletes will be competing in the double appointment on the Finnish snow, with important ambitions on various fronts for the girls led by Beat Tschuor. Wendy Holdener and Michelle Gisin lead them, both in the first starting sub-group and with a certain feeling linked to the "Levi Black": the '93 class of the Canton of Schwyz, already close to the top ten from a very young age 10 years ago in Lapland, he finished second in the 2016 and 2019 editions, as well as third in 2017 and three times in 4th place.
The dual Olympic combined champion, in turn, in the last six editions of Levi's slalom has always finished in the top ten and with a podium, second in the 2020 encore race behind Petra Vlhova.
And pay attention to Camille Rast and Aline Danioth, expected protagonists such as the returning (for the umpteenth time) Melanie Meillard, who had renounced the Soelden giant, then canceled, to concentrate on preparation from a Levi perspective.
The team is completed by Nicole Good, Elena Stoffel, Lorina Zelger and the absolute rookie in CdM, the 2001 class Aline Hoepli.
