Lara Gut back on the skis

More than six months after St. Moritz's knee injury Lara Gut made his return to the snow. It was she herself to announce it on her Facebook page where she also posted a video that immortalises her return to the snow and that we publish at the bottom of this article.

"How to start well the week ... I'm back in the snow," wrote the 26-year-old Ticinese. I'm fine, my knee smiles and everything goes well. Next week my team and I will start for Nevado Valley in Chile to start running on the snow, we will be back home late September. " "In agreement with Dr. Siegrist, my therapists and coaches have planned snow work for the next few months with the goal of allowing me to return effectively in the race, respecting the right time for the knee. For this reason, my return to competitions will be in North America and not in Sölden, but the season will still be long enough. " In other words, now leaving for Chile where it will stay for almost a month, then returning to the races, which is supposedly scheduled for November 25th between the wide gates at Killington. Unless Lara, in agreement with his private team, decides to postpone the return by skipping the giant on the Vermont's snow as well as that on Rettenbach at the end of October, beginning to compete in Lake Louise where December 3 there are the classic three fast races, two descents and a superG.
