From 20 to 22 January 2023, with two super-g and one downhill, the Olympia delle Tofane will host the traditional appointment for the top pink circuit. Here's how the preparations towards the event are proceeding.

Work has begun in Cortina d'Ampezzo to shape the finish line area of the Olympia delle Tofane, the slope on which the three-day Cortina Ski World Cup will take place from 20 to 22 January next, the long finish week of the Women's Alpine Ski World Cup which will offer one downhill and two super-g.
In view of the long weekend with the Ampezzo "Queen of Speed", on the morning of Monday 12 December, by Dolomiti Strade, one of the partners of the Cortina Foundation, the snow was cleared and the Rumerlo area was rearranged where the finish line and the parterre of the track that has hosted the Pink Circus for three decades and which in 2021 was the scene of the World Championships are located.
At the same time the assembly of the grandstand began. "It will seat a thousand and, placed on the short side of the finish bag, it will allow the public an optimal overview of the final part of the races and, of course, the Tofane - explains architect Sebastiano Dabalà, Finish Area director - Upstairs, about 10 meters above the ground, there will be fifteen cabins that will house the TV stations. The assembly of the grandstand will go on until the days immediately preceding Christmas, to then be resumed and completed after the holidays.
Work on setting up the Tofana Lounge will also begin in the next few days, a temporary structure of 800 square meters, next to which, on the west side, we will then set up a large terrace of 400 square meters. The connections will then gradually be made to guarantee the supply of energy, for which we make use of Visa SpA, a company that has been by our side for several years and with which we created the 2021 World Cup.
As regards the materials used, we will have 15 service containers, 1,200 square meters of tensile structures, 8,000 cubic meters of modular scaffolding. There will be around fifty people employed, for around thirty days of work”.

In addition to those of the Finish Area, we are naturally preparing an accurate range of solutions both as regards parking and transport”.
The Finish Area is then completed with the Fan Village, where various partner companies will be present with activities dedicated to fans and the opportunity to taste Ampezzo-style Food&Beverage. To attend the three days of the Cortina Ski World Cup, fans and enthusiasts will be able to choose between the parterre (free admission during the super-g on Friday 20th) and the grandstand, but they will also be able to take advantage of the exclusive Tofana Lounge, with a dedicated terrace, unique on the arrival area, catering by the Chef Team Cortina, wine & cocktail bar, music and dj-set, dedicated shuttle services.
