While Goggia and her companions train at Passo San Pellegrino, today's snow control has indicated the green light for the women's speed triptych in the Ampezzo temple: double super-g and descent from 20 to 22 January.

Between Kranjska Gora and Flachau the series of eight consecutive technical races (which became seven due to the cancellation of the second slalom in Zagreb) consecutive in the calendar of the Women's World Cup will end, for which we will return to talk about speed in the central weekend of January , with downhill and super-g in St. Anton.
The following week, however, it will be the turn of the queen stage for jet women, that of Cortina d'Ampezzo: while Sofia Goggia, Elena Curtoni, Laura Pirovano, the Delago sisters and Karoline Pichler are preparing these appointments on the snow of "La VolatA" today at Passo San Pellegrino, the confirmation for the three-day race on Olympia delle Tofane has arrived.
The snow control of the FIS delegates has given the go-ahead in Cortina, where from Friday 20 to Sunday 22 January it will be an absolute spectacle: a new program, with super-g to open (at 10.15), the classic descent on Saturday (at 10.00 ) and another super-g in closing, from 11.30, while the tests will be two, Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19.
Previous? Well, last year there was only blue on the top step of the podium, with Sofia Goggia triumphing in the shortened downhill, 4 years after that special triumph in 2018 which earned her the first red bib, and the tragedy of Bergamo the following day in super-g, with the shock fall and, at the same time, the second success in Elena Curtoni's career.
