They are linked by a deep relationship, so much so that Federica has hosted her at home several times, the last time in January after the Sestriere races and waiting to fly to Bansko.
Brignone and Gagnon, first rivals but always great friends, despite coming from completely different worlds and contexts: the Canadian skier, who just returned home in the past few hours leaving Europe. On social media, the 30-year-old from Lac-Etchemin addressed a special thought for Fede: “I am so proud of you - wrote Marie-Michèle - I am speechless for this huge achievement that you have achieved, it is the greatest dream that a skier can do it and you did it.
I love the fact that you are always ready to do something fun and that you show the world how it is possible to combine pleasure and success. You were there to cheer you up during tough winter days, despite busy days and interviews. A friend with whom I can escape to Milan and laugh all the time, I love the fact that you are such a positive person and there are no bad days on skis. You and Davide (the brother of Fede) are the best spike ball partners and I like to share so many memories over the years: holidays, races, victories, defeats, balls, races, wine, ice cream, gym, video games .. .
