The blue slalomists return from the Stelvio: six days of great quality, in September the recovery

The gathering of the girls of Devid Salvadori ended a few hours ago: a lot of ambition for the young women of a team that has found Marta Rossetti and is now waiting for Lara Della Mea.

Six days of great quality, on the snows of the Stelvio that welcomed the Italian team of the women's slalom World Cup, defined as group 2 of the technical disciplines. Six specialists who aim to do very well in the Olympic season, starting with the opening slalom in Levi on November 20-21; seven girls are included in the group led a few months ago by the manager in charge Devid Salvadori, who inherited the work carried out over the years by Matteo Guadagnini, capable of rejuvenating a team that will have to do without the experience of Irene Curtoni, and who is still awaiting the post-injury return of Lara Della Mea, still in the pits after the operation on her crusader following the knee injury remedied in the world team event in Cortina. On the glacier between Alto Adige and Lombardy, until yesterday, there were therefore the returning Marta Rossetti, who had already put together some training on the track before finding her companions at the Stelvio, as well as Martina Peterlini, Roberta Midali, the world champion jr Sophie Mathiou, Anita Gulli and Serena Viviani. There is great confidence in a group with a strong identity and which is working well in this blue summer, after having also carried out targeted work in the Peer skidome before August 15th. Now a few days of rest, the slalomists will not be present at the Italsci maxi meeting scheduled from Monday in Saas-Fee, but will be back on track in September.
