Since childhood, the Fanchini sisters have had Brescia Calcio in their hearts, a passion linked to the origins of a land they never left.
The trio grew up in Montecampione, on the slopes that launched them at the highest world level, was therefore present at the game that, after eight years, brought back swallows in Serie A: Sabrina (the smaller of the three) at the Rigamonti stadium , Nadia and Elena celebrated the Ascoli success and promotion together with their own people.
These are weeks of relaxation for the two older sisters (Sabrina has withdrawn from competition 3 years ago), ready to return to training to prepare for the next season. As for Elena, the umpteenth accident suffered last November in Copper Mountain still leaves unknowns about full recovery, but the will is to try again, at 34, to return to play in the World Cup. Nadia, one year younger, is back from a season of ups and downs but, crossing her fingers, with no more injuries and at good speed levels.
