An expected world duel that has not disappointed so far, after a first heat of the world championship race between the tight posts.
We are talking about Zrinka Ljutic, the phenomenal Croatian class of 2004 who is looking for the first world title at junior level on the snow of Panorama, and that talent that goes by the name of Emma Aicher (2003), already silver in descent. The two are divided by just 3 cents in the middle of the slalom race which will be decided from 8.15 pm Italian, with the start of the second run.
Challenge to two for the title? Probably, but be careful because the other favorites did not disappoint, with the French Marie Lamure, already gold in combined, third at 59 cents from Ljutic and in front of Rosa Pohjolainen, who messed up finishing fourth at 80 cents from the head. And one tenth behind the 2003 Finnish, here is the great news from Italy in this first heat. Annette Belfrond, who started with bib 18, is very good at entering fifth place, in full race for a medal even if glued to the Aosta Valley are the American Jemison and the Swedes Bostroem Mussener and Ceder.
Beatrice Sola's start was very good, then the young woman from thirty lost a lot in the final but is still 11th at 1 ”62, with the ability to recover with her quality. Difficult season and a title at this point really complicated to defend for Sophie Mathiou, only 19th at 2 ”39. For Alice Calaba, the fourth blue in the race, 32nd time with a gap of 3 ”65.
