Mikaela Shiffrin and the new staff with lots of Austria and Mike Day certainty

The US federsci has formalized the staff for next season and a new adventure has already begun for weeks for the national team with several changes, but the same head coach at his side.

While Sofia Goggia and Petra Vlhova have resumed work on the snows of the Stelvio, just as this week was the time of the first approach on the track towards the new season for Federica Brignone and Marta Bassino, also for Mikaela Shiffrin the work has already entered live, with several tests in the past few weeks. The World Cup holder, after a period in her Colorado, has now returned to Norway alongside her boyfriend Aleksander Aamodt Kilde and, precisely because of the series of changes that have taken place within her coaching staff, the American champion has already wanted to put together a lot of snow work in spring. After greeting the historic skiman Johann Strobl, Shiffrin began the adventure with the two technicians who will take care of his materials, Robert Buergler and Lukas Rottinger, made available by Atomic with whom Mikaela renewed the contract in May. The point of reference has not changed, coach Mike Day, with a new assistant coach who goes by the name of Mark Mitter; a lot of Austria in the staff of Shiffrin and of the US national team in general, since there is also the novelty of a highly experienced technician like Burkhard Schaffer (who has worked with sprinters from Austria, Norway, Slovenia and Canada), alongside by Jeff Lackie, who replaced Alex Hoedlmoser who returned to the OESV, leading the USA women's speed team.
