"I work as a technician and my brother who also takes care of small things, I am Federica's roommate and the person with whom she spends most of the time - says Davide - I'm on my sister's payroll, it's not an effort little for her but there is collaboration with the other technicians.
They simply told Federica that I shouldn't have come to the matches: my presence and my role are always frowned upon, but I have good relations with the coaches. I'm not complaining about the situation, I just want everyone to care about my sister's good. It's the "only thing that interests me".
Possibility to create a real private team? For Davide Brignone “the FISI does not believe in this formula despite the examples of Tomba, Compagnoni and Kostner. In the last ten years, those who have won the absolute World Cup, apart from Federica, have had a private team: I am talking about Hirscher, Shiffrin, Vonn, Gut, Maze and so on. And in almost all of these groups there was also a family member. In our case, Federica, me and the skiman Mauro Sbardellotto form a small team that joins the various federal groups. We have independence in our choices, and that was what Fede asked for, but if we want to go to a place on our own, the costs are at our expense ”.
There is talk of the relationship with Goggia, but Davide can only use great diplomacy. "That Federica is not Sofia's best friend is evident, but it is not a central problem: certain issues are solvable, I don't think we can't work together".
