A new serious injury, to the same knee that in January 2017 had suffered the rupture of the cruciate.
Charlotte Chable will not be there for the entire 2020/21 season, after what happened on Tuesday during a slalom training session in Saas-Fee; the Swiss class '' 94 suffered a total rupture of the internal lateral ligament and a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of the right knee.
Chable had already torn the anterior cruciate of both knees at a very young age, in December 2012, while over three years ago he had suffered a new cruciate rupture of his right knee, shortly after obtaining excellent continuity of points in the slalom of the World Cup, with the last important placings in the final of the 2015/16 season. Last year no points arrived in the maximum circuit for the Swiss, now called to a new and long recovery path.
