Peter Gerdol positive at Covid-19: the head of the women's cup will miss the Lienz stage

After the giants of Courchevel, two members of the FIS staff were positive, including the Tarvisian, chief race director of the circus rosa: to take his place for the Austrian stage on 28-29 December will be Markus Mayr.

Two cases of positivity within the FIS staff, regarding the team following the Women's World Cup. This is what the International Federation itself communicated this evening, making it known that after the Courchevel races there were two cases related to Covid-19, including the one concerning the great head of the sector, or the chief race director Peter Gerdol . All close contacts have been identified and reviewed, but no other positives have emerged at Covid, so there will be no problems for the Lienz stage on 28-29 December (giant and slalom), with Markus Mayr taking on the role of Gerdol in that occasion.
