There is an urgent need to be able to work in winter conditions for the World Cup groups of the Italian national teams, considering the almost total stop imposed between July and August by the situation of the alpine glaciers.
Now the first date for two big blue is official: Marta Bassino and Federica Brignone will in fact be the first athletes to fly towards Argentina, to stay there for over a month. Departure scheduled for Friday 19 August, return on 23 September with the technicians Daniele Simoncelli, Davide Brignone, Darwin Pozzi and Giuseppe Abruzzini together with the girls.
The athletes of the multipurpose CdM group will board the plane for South America a week later, on 26 August, to return to Italy on Friday 30 September. Six blue will be present: Laura Pirovano, Karoline Pichler, Roberta Melesi, Nicol and Nadia Delago and Elena Curtoni. The pool of federal technicians is also complete, led by the same dt Rulfi, assisted by Giovanni Feltrin (manager responsible for this team), Daniel Dorigo, Paolo Stefanini, Giorgio Pavoni, Luca Scarian, Matteo Santagostino Pretina, Marco Sberze and Luca Borgis.
