Bad news coming from the very talented New Zealand winner in the Soelden opening.

Yes, Alice Robinson announced on social media the renunciation of the Killington giant, scheduled for next November 30th in Vermont, in what was to be her second seasonal race after the enterprise on the Rettenbach.
The reason? The 17-year-old from Queenstown had suffered a knee bruise before the opening race, but despite some pain she managed to compete without any particular problems; back in New Zealand to complete her year of studies and ready to fly to the States for an important training session, Alice consulted with the doctors and chose not to risk compromising the situation.
"They advised me to rest - Robinson explained - Of course it is hard to accept it, but it is better not to take risks at this stage. I'll be back in December â€.
In the race at Killington, therefore, we will not see the red bib specialty and now first direct rival in giant Mikaela Shiffrin.
