The Swiss triumphed in the only recovery race staged (over two heats), the Ligurian confirmed itself at a good level after the podium in Sankt Anton.

After many weather-related difficulties and the downhill race postponed for two consecutive days, today in Pila we managed to take home at least one of the scheduled European Cup races, recovering the two descents canceled in mid-December at Passo San Pellegrino.
Compared to the original program, at the end there was only one descent (on two heats as in Sankt Anton), anticipating today the only training played and then following the race: the success went to the Swiss Rahel Kopp, who he made the difference immediately in the first heat and defeated the competition, returning to success on the continental circuit four years after the only time in combined, winning with the beauty of 1 "48 on the Romanian (of French origin) Ania Monica Caill , and 1 â€65 on the Transalpine Esther Paslier.
And the first blue? Valentina Cillara Rossi, back from the first podium of her career in the European Cup in Sankt Anton and confirmed today on good levels, with the 9th final place at 2 â€20 from Kopp.
Good points also for Carlotta Da Canal (12th), Sofia Pizzato (13th), Elisa Maria Negri (16th), Jole Galli (20th), Nicole Nogler Kostner (26th), Elena Dolmen (27th), Sofia Kerschbaumer (29th) and Federica Lani, 30th.
