A wonderful career ending, like in the most beautiful dreams.
Resi Stiegler, who had announced his farewell to skiing at the World Cup slalom in Are, took part in the latest competitive competitions at the US national championships. And in the last race of the Aspen event, or “his” slalom, the '85 class of Wyoming gave itself a truly exciting success, for its sixth title after 19 years of high-level career.
Resi was second after the 1st heat, 9 cents from Zoe Zimmermann who then dropped to 9th place in the overall standings, which sees the Australian Hoffman second (with a great comeback from 14th position) to 3 tenths from Stiegler , while the third place and the silver at the national level is for Katie Hensien, 8 tenths away from the winner. The bronze, on the other hand, went to Tegan Wold.
