Romane Miradoli is back on skis and, since last week, is accelerating the pace on the snows of Les Deux Alpes; the 27-year-old multipurpose transalpine has returned from the knockout in the first heat of the second giant of Courchevel, when she jumped her left knee crusader in the race on 14 December 2020.
Three times fifth in the cup, from the super-g of La Thuile 2016 to that of Garmisch in 2019, including the descent of Cortina in the same year, Miradoli had done very well in the 2019/2020 vintage, seventh downhill both in Lake Louise and in Bansko.
"I don't feel pain and I can train well - he explained to the newspaper Le Dauphiné - I don't want to put pressure on myself and I don't think about Soelden now, we'll see if I can be there for Lake Louise". The goal is in fact the first fast races of the season, at the end of November in Canada, with the Frenchwoman who will also start working in a super-g and downhill perspective in Zermatt from the end of August.
Then, with her team mates from the Equipe de France speed team, hopefully she will face the South American trip in September on the snows of Ushuaia.
