On 4 September, Austria had said goodbye to its biggest champion, who announced on live TV the withdrawal from the competition after winning eight consecutive World Cups and ... all the rest of the ace's boundless bulletin board by Annaberg. Like Marcel Hirscher, Anna Veith also opted for the same choice, having made an appointment with the media from all over the world for the evening of Saturday 23 May, in that of Schladming / Rohrmoos.
From 18.55 and live on ORF1, the Olympic super-g champion and winner of two absolute crystal balls will reveal her plans for the future which, as anticipated by the "Kronen Zeitung", foresee the farewell to skiing only 30 years old (just like Hirscher) and after battling a thousand injuries.
The conference with Anna will be moderated by Alexandra Meissnitzer, the former champion of Austrian TV for years and beyond: "Anna Veith remembers the past season, with an exchange of ideas on the hard path, dreams and plans for the future" , reads the announcement of the live broadcast which foresees the withdrawal of one of the greatest stars of world skiing in the new millennium.
