Shiffrin continues to work and is now dedicated to super-g: quality training at Mammoth Mountain

In the Californian town, here is the American star together with her teammates: Mikaela will return to compete in this discipline also in the World Cup.

He has only disputed two, namely the world championship in Cortina ended in 3rd place only because of the sensational error in Rumerlo, when he practically had the gold medal around his neck and had not competed in speed for over a year, and that of the combined world champion finished in third place, just a few cents behind Brignone and Curtoni, which then led her to win her sixth world title. Mikaela Shiffrin and the super-g, a relationship that becomes close again during the training sessions that the Eagle champion is supporting in this long spring: after working in Squaw Valley, now the three-time World Cup winner has moved at Mammoth Mountain, the reference ski resort in California, for a quality training together with fellow sprinters and also with specialists in the technical disciplines, from Nina O''Brien to Paula Moltzan. For Mikaela finally long skis on her feet and the will to return to compete in this discipline also in the World Cup, where she has not been on the track in a super-g since January 26, 2020, when she won in Bansko. In the specialty WCSL, in fact, he has only 60 points collected thanks to the third place in Cortina and is 21st, but the programming choices will always be targeted and not necessarily Shiffrin will play them all, in particular if combined with the descents (as in the weekend debut end for speed, in Lake Louise). To return to fight for the "coppona", however, will be a fundamental step.
