The World Cup rankings after the first of two tests between the wide doors in Courchevel: the American with 35 points over Goggia, Vlhova at -280 and Brignone climbs to fourth position.

A big push to get back to the top of the World Cup, after the incredible sequence of Sofia Goggia (five wins, a second and a sixth place in seven speed races) had brought her down from the throne.
Mikaela Shiffrin is again leader of the general and from now on it will be complicated to unseat her, if we think that there are still seven consecutive technical races scheduled, up to the night slalom in Flachau. Goggia is now 35 points behind the American, while Petra Vlhova has lost another 50 points and is at 280 points, with Federica Brignone (who overtook Johnson) fourth at -328, while for Lara Gut-Behrami Mikaela's success today is even heavier in the negative, given his absence both for race-1 and for the second challenge between the wide doors on Wednesday.

In the WCSL of the discipline, Federica herself dropped to 7th place, while Sara Hector will start in the first sub-group tomorrow, as the ninth place of the Swede becomes the seventh with the absences of Gut-Behrami and Robinson. Meta Hrovat comes out of this compared to today, exiting immediately in the first heat, while Goggia remains steadfast in the second sub-group despite today's zero.
