The engagement at the top of the World Cup standings took place, even if the Slovakian probably expected something more than the 17 points collected in the two Crans-Montana descents, in which the American did not take part, ready to return for the super-g and the giant next Saturday and Sunday in Lenzerheide. Goggia who instead sees the downhill cup, with the current "+75" against Corinne Suter before the finals: a 10th place in the last race will be enough, or the points zone (top 15) in case of 2 ° place of the Swiss.
Sunday's race also assigned the 25 bibs for the final descent of Courchevel-Méribel: five Italians who will be able to take part in it, namely Goggia, Nadia Delago, Brignone and Curtoni by right from the specialty classification, and Marta Bassino thanks to the points of the general WCSL. There will be eight Austrians, six Swiss, in addition to Ledecka, Mowinckel, Weidle, Gagnon, Stuhec and Miradoli, while Johnson will not be injured and, of course, Vlhova and Shiffrin will be able to participate in full brawl for the general.
