Carole Bissig says enough, definitive retirement from competitive skiing at the age of 26, a couple after her sister Chiara (born in 2000), while her brother Semyel will continue his adventure in the Swiss-Ski men's team. As reported by “skinews.ch”, the 1996 slalom racer decided to leave to start a new life, actually competing in her last race on April 3, sixth in the slalom of the Liechtenstein national championships.
Specialist in narrow goalposts, Carole has put together 23 appearances in the World Cup, scoring 8 times: the last time, however, dates back to January 2019 in Flachau and the difficulties in the past seasons have been many, including that of 2021 / 22 with only two appearances, coming out in the first heat, on the occasion of the opening slalom in Levi.
Over 100 tokens in the European Cup, while the most "expert" of the Bissig family was unable to participate in Olympic and world events.
