The opening round of the World Championships in St. Moritz will be the women's Super-G.

SUPERG FEMALE IN SEASON IN PROGRESS In the current season they were played 4 women's Super G World Cup. Mistress gets Lara Gut, who won 3 times (Lake Louise, Val d'Isere and Garmisch-Partenkirchen), 1 for success instead Ilka Štuhec (Cortina d'Ampezzo). They got podiums Tina Weirather (second in Lake Louise and Val d'Isere and third in Garmisch-Partenkirchen), Stephanie Venier (third in Garmisch-Partenkirchen), Anna Veith (third in Cortina d'Ampezzo) and Italian sofia goggia (third in Lake Louise and second in Cortina d'Ampezzo) and Elena Curtoni (third in Val d'Isere). In the Gut specialties standings with 300 points followed by commands Weirather with 256 and Stuhec with 190. The best blue is Goggia fifth with 140 points. In summary, these are the seasonal women's Super G podium of the World Cup. SUPERG WOMEN ST. MORITZ St. Moritz is a town in the canton of Grisons, famous, luxury travel destination for both winter and summer, as well as the historic town as far as downhill skiing. In fact, it has already hosted three editions of the World Championships (1934, 1974 and 2003), one of the Olympic Games (1948) and the various stages of the World Cup; particularly since 1999 is pretty much regular event for the women's circuit. In all, 14 editions of women's Super G in St. Moritz, 13 of the World Cup and the one that gave the world title in 2003. They are two girls who lead the ranking of plurivincitrici at an altitude of 3: the first is Michaela Dorfmeister, who he won the editions of March 6, 1999, 3 February 2003 (World gold) and 20 January 2006; the second is Lindsey Vonn, winner of 31 January 2010, the 8 December 2012 and 25 January 2015.
