Sankt Moritz stage saves: the Canton of Graubünden grants exemption for the white circus arriving from Canada

The two female super-gs scheduled for Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 December, in danger due to the government's decision to carry out a mandatory quarantine from the North American country, receive a green light. The FIS officially announced it this afternoon.

The 2021/22 World Cup can continue its original path, albeit amid cancellations and problems related, at least so far, only to issues related to the weather as happened in Killington and potentially also in Lake Louise. A nice sigh of relief, what the women's circuit can pull, given that the stage following the speed triptych scheduled from Friday to Sunday in Canada is saved; on 11-12 December there will therefore be competitions in Sankt Moritz, where two super-gs are scheduled, after the appointment in Engadine had been in the balance due to the federal government's decision to impose a 10-day quarantine for all people arriving from the North American country, on the list of states at risk due to the Omicron variant. As announced today by the FIS, the Canton of Grisons has granted an exceptional entrance to the group of the white circus, with the details of the provisions related to this exemption that will be indicated in the coming days.
