This can only be the theme of the second female giant of the World Cup season, scheduled for Saturday (3.45pm and 7pm, Italian time, for the two heats) on the snows of Killington.
It is true, the American "Superstar" (as the name of the track in the Vermont locality) has never won in these parts in the three previous editions of the giant, instead bringing the slalom home at all times, and it is not even red bib after the opening of Soelden, but the very favorite is really her.
The rivals are many and very strong, starting with Alice Robinson who on the same day should confirm her participation in the race, after announcing the forfeiture weeks ago, following a knee bruise suffered before the race on Rettenbach, and having changed her mind after new consultations and a few days of training without pain.
Here they won Tessa Worley and Viktoria Rebensburg, ready for the battle as Petra Vlhova, fresh from the disappointment of Levi, but in growing condition and confident of being able to approach the great rival, both in slalom and in giant.
