Another Italian with a leading role in FIS: Alberto Senigagliesi will be the race director of women's fast races

Last season as head of the French national team in the squad, then the Piedmontese coach will take on the new role: "I will bring my experience as an athlete and coach".

Another Italian with a leading role within the FIS, alongside Markus Waldner and Peter Gerdol who already hold the highest positions at a technical level in alpine skiing, as chief race director of the men's circuit and of the female one. With the Tarvisian Gerdol, starting from the 2022/23 season there will be Alberto Senigagliesi as race director of the women's fast races: the Piedmontese technical expert, as reported by Ski Chrono (then the official announcement from the same arrived International Federation), will therefore leave at the end of this year the position of technical manager of the entire group of the women's national team in France, hired in 2018. He will replace Jean-Philippe Vuillet, who is close to retirement: "I am happy to be able to take on this role, I know the FIS team well and I think that my background as an athlete and technician can help create challenging but safe courses for girls - said Senigagliesi to the FIS press office - I want to thank the French federation for these 5 years together, they have been a great experience ”.
