A very hard-fought tricolor slalom, with the first four athletes who, at the end of the first heat, are enclosed in just 22 cents.
On the “Kandahar G.A. Agnelli "of Sestriere, it is Petra Unterholzner who commands dreaming of the first Italian title of her career: the '' 99 South Tyrolean class under the Fiamme Azzurre, however, will restart in the 2nd round (around 12.30) with only 13 cents ahead in the comparisons of Lucrezia Lorenzi, 18 on Vera Tschurtschenthaler (who won the Italian flag in 2019 and was silver last year behind Brignone) and 22 on Marika Mascherona.
Attention, however, since the athletes of the CdM group are not far away: Anita Gulli is 5th at 34 cents and is capable of everything, like Lara Della Mea, who started with number 1, sixth at half a second from Unterholzner and a cent ahead of Serena Viviani. Within the second of detachment from the top, we then find Marcora, Brignone (9th at 88 cents) and Belfrond, who closes the top ten. Far away, however, are Marta Rossetti (at 2 ”13) and Beatrice Sola (at 2” 73), who are unlikely to be able to re-enter the battle for medals.
