Vivien Insam takes on the FIS giant of Sestriere, stage of the Italian GP at Matilde Lorenzi

The South Tyrolean wins at an absolute level by burning Cillara Rossi and the French Socquet Dagoreau, while the young woman of the Ski Club Sestriere wins the success in the Young and Aspiring categories.

It is Vivien Insam who establishes herself in the FIS giant organized today in Sestriere. The 24-year-old from Val Gardena, already seen several times this year in the World Cup, managed to conquer a very tight race, as Valentina Cillara Rossi finished with just a tenth of a gap, in turn preceding the French Julia Socquet by 2 cents. Dagoreau, with Francesca Fanti fourth and Elisa Platino sixth. Today's test, as well as Thursday's slalom, is also valid for the Italian GP: stage for young and aspiring students with success, in both categories, for Matilde Lorenzi. The talent in force at the Sci Club Sestriere finished tenth overall, preceding Alice Pazzaglia (twelfth in the race) and Martina Marangon (seventeenth) at the Young level, while among the Aspirants Ambra Pomare finished second (20th at the finish line) and third Ludovica Druetto (25th).
