The new phenomenon of skiing Croatia, as the technicians and observers had already guessed for a couple of years.
She won practically everything at the youth level and, even if we are talking about a girl born in 2004, Zrinka Ljutic is already ready to land in the world of the big ones: it is official the choice to bring her to Semmering for the debut in the World Cup, already Monday 28 with the fourth giant of the season. And the great thing is that after the appointment on the Austrian snows, the slalom on January 3 will be staged in his Zagreb (where the snow is good and the FIS ok will arrive this Saturday).
Zrinka amazed everyone in his first FIS races, present at the seasonal opening in Solda between slalom and giant, where he took a 4th and a 9th place respectively starting with very high bibs (and the level was certainly not low ... ). Always followed by her father, who grew up in a family of skiers (her brother Tvrtko, born in 2002, already disengages at good levels), the 16-year-old Croatian won the first points in the European Cup in Hippach, always climbing the level with a 19th and an 11th place (she had instead come out in the two opening slaloms of the continental circuit, in Valle Aurina a few days earlier), and just when she had lowered her bib, starting with 24 in the giant of Andalo last Sunday, she signed the 5 Th time in the first heat and was flying towards the podium in the second, before derailing.
In short, it was immediately clear that Zrinka Ljutic is also ready for the most important stage, even if it would be wrong to ask her for a result already in Semmering. Should it arrive, however, it would not surprise us that much ...
