Zrinka Ljutic is perhaps by far the most awaited talent in the World Cup, already able to make his debut by touching the first points at the age of 17, last season in the slalom of Semmering, Zagreb and Flachau. Then at the end of January the podiums in the European Cup, coinciding with two victories within a week and in two different disciplines, from the slalom of Zell am See to the giant of Krvavec. Now, the phenomenal Croatian class of 2004, who already at home they call little Kostelic, is preparing the assault on the 2021/22 season which will be his first real in the maximum circuit, with the Beijing Olympics on the horizon. Fabrizio Malisan intercepted her for us in Zermatt, where Ljutic has been working with quality for weeks. "The last few days in the giant have been very good - said Zrinka - and I did three weeks of excellent training, I am happy with the work done". Ljutic has already passed from a disappointment like that of the Junior World Championships in Bansko, all part of a growth path that will now pass from the debut in a giant of the World Cup, right in Soelden on October 23: "I'm fine and I'm ready, now the preparation will continue in Hintertux ”.
