He was at his side on February 27, 2010, on the most important day of Giuliano Razzoli's sporting career in that magical Olympic slalom of the Vancouver Games, and even today on the most important day in the life of his friend "Razzo".
Alberto Tomba wanted to be there for the wedding of the blue slalomist, celebrated in his Tuscan-Emilian Apennines: the 37-year-old Reggio specialist married Elisa Bonini, a girl from his land (a native of Casina, not even thirty kilometers from Villa Minozzo), to the church of Santa Maria Assunta at the Pieve di Minozzo, with the ceremony presided over by none other than the bishop emeritus of the diocese of Reggio Emilia, Monsignor Massimo Camisasca.
Then everyone at the reception always organized in the mountains, in Manno di Toano, with many national team blues, relatives and friends, before the flight booked for the Seychelles where Giuliano and Elisa will live their honeymoon. Then, for the Razzo it will be time to start preparing for the new season, given that after the splendid year 2021/22 that saw it return to the podium of a World Cup race six years after the last time, we can enjoy it for another winter.
The latest, almost certainly, of his splendid career.
