After testing Salomon material in the spring, the 2020/21 CdM winner will continue with the brand that has been following him for eight years. "I will have two new technicians by my side".

He wants to relaunch himself in the year of "his" World Championship, the one he will literally experience on the snows of his home in Courchevel (the town where he grew up) and Méribel, after a season with only a couple of podiums in December and many difficulties, even at mental level as the person concerned admitted after having crowned the dream of the crystal ball a few months earlier, including the "zero" in terms of medals at the Beijing Olympics.
Alexis Pinturault will do it with a revolutionized staff, but with the same house of materials that has already followed him since 2014: the transalpine champion, in fact, has decided not to leave Head after, as reported by the same colleagues of "Ski Chrono", in the spring in Courchevel he had tested Salomon's products several times.
Unlike compatriot Mathieu Faivre, Pinturault will not make that path of change, as he announced on his website: "We are working with Head and two new technicians should accompany me from next season".
Apparently, the request related to the staff was decisive in remaining faithful to the Austrian brand, after Alexis had to say goodbye to his long-time coach, Fabien Munier (already replaced by Stéphane Quittet), and skiman Guntram Mathis.
The recovery on skis? It is already scheduled for next 13 June, after a couple of months in the pits.
