New Hampshire champion and Olympic bi-medalist received the award during the event staged in Salt Lake City

The US Ski & Snowboard has included in its Hall of Fame two skiers who have written important pages in the history of the US federation.
Certainly at different levels, given that those directly involved respond to the names of Bode Miller and Andrew Weibrecht; the champion of New Hampshire was not present at the ceremony, but was celebrated for all his successes in the world of skiing (two general World Cups with 33 victories in the circuit, 4 world golds and six Olympic medals of which one d gold) and for its unique style that has partly revolutionized and tried to change something in the environment of winter sports.
Weibrecht has become famous for its relationship with the Olympics: the greatest satisfaction of the native of Lake Placid is to arrive right at the Games, winning the bronze in the super-g in Vancouver 2010 behind Svindal and Miller, and even more surprisingly silver, in the same specialty, four years later in Sochi behind Jansrud, right in front of his friend and team-mate Bode Miller, ex-aequo bronze with Hudec.
