Two podiums in the last World Cup season, with a sprint start in Lake Louise that surprised everyone.
Carlo Janka is still there at the age of 33 and he has every intention of showing it also in the 2020/21 vintage, trying to find that success that he misses from the pre-Olympic of Jeongseon, when in February 2016 he dominated the super- g on Korean snows. The 2010 Vancouver Olympian (in giant) and the last Swiss to win the World Cup, was told on the columns of the "Blick", revealing that the expected wedding with his partner Jenny, scheduled for next July 11, has been postponed to 2021.
"Due to the restrictions related to the pandemic we could not have made it as planned, so we decided to get married in a year," explained Janka who, next spring, will move with the family (the couple has a 9-month-old daughter) in the new house, always in his Obersaxen, the heart of the Canton of Grisons.

The Swiss said "worried about the next season, because I think we will not live a normal winter. I hope that the FIS will find an alternative formula to be able to compete and ensure that all training is not useless. There is this risk. "
