The rankings of the men's World Cup after the Bormio super-g: the Swiss, fifth today, shows great continuity. For the holder of the absolute crystal ball tomorrow the attempt to overtake the French.

Today's super-g on the Stelvio saw Ryan Cochran-Siegle treat himself to his first triumph in the World Cup and, obviously, quickly climb all the rankings. Sixth in the specialty after three races, just over 90 points behind the leader Mauro Caviezel, and eighth in the specialty WCSL which will allow the American to choose his odd number for third last in the next round of Kitzbuehel.
It was no exception day for Aleksander Aamodt Kilde, but the Norwegian champion still took home 50 points to get a little closer to Alexis Pinturault (today good 12th), now at 37 points and with the possibility of overtaking on Wednesday downhill, before the four consecutive technical races scheduled between Zagreb and Adelboden (also essential for Kristoffersen's run-up, who remains 150 points behind the Frenchman).
At home in Italy, Dominik Paris is now already very far from Caviezel in the super-g cup (-175 with 4 races to play), now a distant thought, and remains out of the top 10 in WCSL, this certainly not negative news even if the draw of the even numbers, on the occasion of the match in Bormio, was anything but good. A few points for Matteo Marsaglia, who will still have to take a small step to be among the 30s in this discipline.
