And the winter season in Tierra del Fuego is truly ... prolific, as there is no lack of snowfall on the Cerro Castor slopes, indeed ... Ideal conditions therefore for the Austrian national speed that, until August 27th, will train in the locality of reference for many teams, including the Italian team that, starting Monday 19, will work on the Argentine snows until September 16th. The red-and-white group, on the other hand, had to make do a little, given that initially it should have prepared itself in Chile, but between Valle Nevado and La Parva the situation turned out to be far from good, thus preparing an emergency plan with Mayer, Reichelt, Kriechmayr, Franz and Striedinger migrated to Ushuaia. Sprinters who cross the edges with the young Austrian gigantists, given that the mini-team comprising Brennsteiner, Leitinger, Feurstein and Meier is working in Argentina during this same period. The second speed group, on the other hand, is training from last Tuesday (and until 23 August) in Saas Fee; on the Swiss glacier there are the promising Krenn, Danklmaier, Walder, Neumayer and Johannes Kroell, led by the technician Werner Franz (former high level downhill skier of Wunderteam) who defined the conditions "very good in order to carry out an important amount of work".
