From the night of Campiglio to that of Crans-Montana: Giuliano Razzoli will participate in the slalom-exhibition

On 12 January, the fourth edition of an event that is growing and proposes an innovative formula on Mont Lachaux. Announced the presence of the 2010 Olympic champion, who started the season very well and now sees ... Zagreb.

We are moving towards the month of the slalom, with five specialty events regarding the men's World Cup, from the restart on January 5 in Zagreb, passing through the great classics of Adelboden, Wengen, Kitzbuehel and Schladming (and after the Olympics we will return to compete in Garmisch with a double appointment). Many big names in the top circuit, however, will also add to this menu the slalom-exhibition scheduled on the evening of Wednesday 12 January in Crans-Montana: it will be the fourth edition of a race that is growing, with an important prize pool and an innovative formula, with the elimination of 5 athletes in each heat and a "final" to 5, conceived by the same technician of the Swiss team, Matteo Joris from Valle d'Aosta, together with the organizers. This year, on the snows of Mont Lachaux, there will also be a little blue: the presence of the Olympic champion Giuliano Razzoli has already been announced, in addition to that of the landlord Daniel Yule. The 37-year-old specialist from Reggio, who started the season that should lead him to play his third edition of the Games for a great career finish, with 9th place in Val d''Isère and then 7th on the night of Campiglio, focuses strongly on "his" slalom in Zagreb and then, between Adelboden and Wengen, will remain in Switzerland to show off (and at the same time compete with rivals of the highest level) in the Crans-Montana race. Previous? The first two editions were won by Clément Noel, then third last year behind the Swiss duo formed by Aerni and Von Gruenigen (Noel, the son of the great Michael).
