The satisfaction in Italy after the first round of the world champion giant, which sees the Trentino second at 4 tenths from Pinturault. "I didn't think I felt so good on this snow, but I managed to push it all the way".

A dream situation, with many big players far away (or out, as in the case of Marco Odermatt) and a perfect position to look for at least the medal and what would be the first podium of his career at these levels, on the most awaited day.
Apart from superstition, Luca De Aliprandini makes Italy dream after the first round of the world champion giant from Cortina, second to 4 tenths behind super Alexis Pinturault; halfway through the race all the Azzurri are in the running for good placings, given that Giovanni Franzoni is in the 30s (it is his first time, although obviously in a World Cup it is more "simple" than in a World Cup race considering the starting field and the much lower bib) and Giovanni Borsotti and Riccardo Tonetti in the 20s.
All the lights, of course, are focused on Luca. "It is beautiful, but I did not think I would be so well on this snow, similar in some ways to the Korean one - the analysis of De Aliprandini to the microphones of Rai Sport - I managed to push to the end, even if it was really tough.
When I saw Pinturault with that advantage (2 ”12 over Zubcic, ed) I told myself that there was something strange, being only 4 tenths of a second is a surprise. I just think about recovering my energy after these interviews, because today is really long ".
