The call for Cortina 2021 was in the air for the two born in 2001 also engaged today in the second giant of the European Cup in Berchtesgaden. The man from Bergamo will play the team event, while the man from Brescia is certain of his place in the combined.

The only sure thing is that "Pippo" will be part of the blue team for the team event, while "Giò" will already be the protagonist in the alpine combined scheduled for Wednesday 10. "I am very happy with this call-up, but also concentrated in these days - Franzoni's words after receiving the call-up on Saturday afternoon - For the World Championships for sure I will do the combined, for the other races they have not told me anything yet. Now let's think of a giant that could be important for decisions in the world championship ".
The same goes for Della Vite: "I'm really happy with this call-up, for now the certainty concerns the parallel of the team event, at the moment I don't have any indications for the giant - explains the 19-year-old from Bergamo - It's an important season: first the call-up in the World Cup, now the World Cup ... ”.
