At almost 34 years old, who will celebrate on November 29th, Leif Kristian Nestvold-Haugen still wants to get back into the game, as evidenced by the choice made in this summer 2021 by the Norwegian expert specialist in technical disciplines.
It was not a very happy last season for him, however four times in the top ten in “his” giant, with a 7th place in Santa Caterina as the best result. In the next one, Nestvold-Haugen will aim straight for participation in its fourth Olympics, after taking a bronze in the team event at PyeongChang 2018, and will do so with new materials available.
After announcing the separation with Rossignol, 13 years full of satisfactions with 3 podiums in the World Cup and that amazing bronze in the world champion giant of Sankt Moritz 2017, behind Hirscher and Leitinger, the Norwegian will race in 2021/22 with HEAD, turning into a "rebel".
