In Beijing 2022, at his third Olympics, he made all fans dream (and cry) with his emotion at the end of that slalom so special for Giuliano Razzoli, who touched another five-circle medal, 12 years after the triumph of Vancouver. Just after that 8th place with a very particular meaning, the last Italian Olympic champion at the male level had already decided to continue his career for another year, after realizing that he is still competitive, not only for the return to the podium (with 3rd place in Wengen) 6 years after the last time. At almost 38 years old, now the “Razzo” is preparing for a new season after more than 15 years in the white circus, but also for a very special appointment; Saturday 4 June, in fact, he will get married with his Elisa. The news was published today by his colleague Luigi Vinceti of the "Gazzetta di Reggio", who has been following the career of the Reggio slalomist from the very beginning. A relationship with Elisa Bonini, a girl originally from Casina (just over 20 km from the Razzoli house, in Villa Minozzo), which has lasted for years and which has led the couple to take the plunge. Wedding that will be staged at the historic parish church of Minozzo: there will also be the former bishop of the diocese of Reggio Emilia and Guastalla, Monsignor Massimo Camisasca, flanked by Giuliano's uncle, Father Antonio, a Franciscan missionary who has been in Borneo, and by local priests. Many current and former teammates have been invited, not to mention technicians and members of the various staff of the national team, so much so that Razzoli has already booked for them numerous rooms in the hotels of the Emilian Apennine area, for those who will arrive early or will stay beyond the ceremony. Honeymoon? In the Seychelles, but only for a few days of vacation considering that the preparation, both at an athletic level and on skis between July and August, will soon start again and, in the meantime, the blue slalomist will also inaugurate his splendid vinegar cellar, one of his great passions together with wine production. The post-career path has already been mapped out, but also in 2022/23 there will be a great Razzoli to enjoy on the track.
