A thrilling 3Tre, for a 68th edition of the slalom par excellence that will be special, also and above all for the return of the public to the track, under the spotlights of Canalone Miramonti.
The usual unique atmosphere is expected in Campiglio, even if the spectators will be only 3000 for a race in which Italy is betting very strongly on Alex Vinatzer, already a splendid third on the night of 22 December 2020. A year later, the 22-year-old from Val Gardena it seems even more ready, for the level expressed in the Val d''Isère opening up to ... two doors from the end. "I want to hear from you - said the blue leader, who will start with the number 14 - We are all very excited, the cheering will give us an extra boost".
Jacques Theolier's team will also count on Manfred Moelgg, Stefano Gross and Giuliano Razzoli, but after bib 30 pay attention also to Simon Maurberger and Tommaso Sala, who are in condition and confident with the latest results, while Tommaso Saccardi (at the start with 66) will simply have to gain experience on his World Cup debut.
The conditions on the Canalone Miramonti are perfect after the last crossing of the last few days, the weather as well: start of the 1st heat at 5.45 pm, the second is scheduled at 8.45 pm.
