Emanuele Buzzi was operated today at the La Madonnina clinic in Milan by the doctors of the FISI medical commission Herbert Schoenhuber, Andrea Panzeri and Gabriele Thiebat.

The 24-year-old sappadino has been reduced the fracture of the tibial plate with a contusive sprained trauma and involvement of the posterior cruciate ligament of the right knee, which had been caused by the fall in the Wengen descent after crossing the line.
Federico Paini, who fell on Monday in the men's Kitzbuehel descent in the European Cup, was also operated today. The valdostane has broken the anterior cruciate ligament, the medial collateral ligament and the lateral meniscus of the left knee.
Both Buzzi and Paini will be back at the races next season.

Come ha comunicato questa sera la FISI, la fuoriclasse bergamasca ha concluso anticipatamente il camp sudamericano a causa di un malore durante la sua permanenza a Ushuaia e d'accordo con il dottor Panzeri ha deciso di tornare a casa.
