Garmisch ok for the night of January 4th, but there is an alarm for Adelboden three days after the snow check

The FIS has confirmed the third seasonal slalom of the men's World Cup, the first race of 2023 on the splendid "Gudiberg". The following weekend, however, will be complicated for the Swiss temple.

The new year of the men's white circus will start from Garmisch-Partenkirchen, with today's snow check indicating the green light for the night challenge on the "Gudiberg", scene of the third slalom on January 4th, after Val d''Isère and Campiglio , again under the spotlights as on the Canalone Miramonti, given that in Bavaria the first round will be held at 3.40pm and the second at 6.45pm. After the return of a great classic in 2022, in that case also with double slalom and... double success for Henrik Kristoffersen, an important confirmation for Garmisch which will also have downhill and giant slalom at the end of January, again for men, on Kandahar . There is a pretty big problem, however, for the men's calendar and it's called Adelboden: as Tina Weirather testified today on social media, the snow situation in the Swiss resort is almost dramatic, even if everything will be done to complete the legendary "Chuenisbargli" in view of the giant slalom and scheduled for 7-8 January. There are just three days left for the International Federation's snow inspection, set for the morning of Friday 30 December, at -8 from the more classic giant and which no one would like to see cancelled.
