On January 8th, 2020, 3Tre will return to the leading role of the World Cup with an unmissable event for enthusiasts and the approach to the only specialty race on the calendar (this year is obviously the exception of the slalom of the Cortina finals) "Ampezzo" led the organizing committee to present itself in the capital.
At the Sporting Club Due Ponti, an authentic sports citadel in the northern Rome area, the 3Tre received a truly warm welcome in the umpteenth stage of the promotional tour, after the recent and positive experience in Moscow.
For the evening that saw Emanuele and Pietro Tornabuoni host the Trentino event of the white circus, sports figures like Alessandra Sensini, vice president of CONI and Olympic windsurfing in Sydney 2000, and fencers Margherita Granbassi and Stefano Pantano, in addition to the inevitable Giorgio Rocca, the last Italian winner on the Miramonti gully back in 2005 and for years alongside the organizing committee.
Seeing the images of the great blue successes flowing in Campiglio, from Thoeni to Gros, from Tomba to him, the Valtellina champion was excited: "That on 3Tre was my only victory in Italy and gave me feelings never felt elsewhere - the words of the Livigno - For this reason, when I see myself again I feel the chills down my spine and convince myself once again that this is truly an extraordinary event. Blue chances for 2020? I'm just saying that one day a young Swede arrived in Campiglio whom nobody knew, his name was Ingemar Stenmark.
