Italy introduces itself to the two giants Badioti, scheduled for Sunday 19 and Monday 20 December (there will also be live TV on Rai 2, with the first heat at 10 and the second at 13.30) for a truly special double, with many motivations and a state of form which, in particular as regards Luca De Aliprandini, is more than good.
The Trentino rider dreams of his first podium on the Tempio track, where he has often done well and which in the past has given many joys to the Azzurri: 23 podiums, the last one given by Florian Eisath, with nine wins by Richard Pramotton in 1986, followed by Alberto Tomba's poker, up to Davide Simoncelli's pearl in 2003 and Max Blardone's hat-trick (2005, 2009 and 2011).
In addition to the vice world champion, Giovanni Borsotti, Riccardo Tonetti, Filippo Della Vite, Giovanni Franzoni, Hannes Zingerle, Alex Hofer and Simon Maurberger will therefore be on the track.
