The Trieste area beats the corregionale on the Brescia snow; the results of the various categories, with Federico Romele exulting among the Aspirants.

Pietro Canzio won in the men's FIS slalom in Val Palot, which also awarded points for the national circuit of the Italian Grand Prix. The 24-year-old from Trieste, belonging to group B2 of the technical disciplines of the national team, was able to come back from the sixth place of the 1st heat to beat, by only 13 cents, the Pontebbano Hans Vaccari, with the Andorra Axel Esteve third with 40 cents of posting.
In the senior category classification (born from 1999 onwards who are not part of national teams), the success of the day went to Manuel Ploner, sixth in the order of arrival, who preceded Gianlorenzo Di Paolo (seventh) and Corrado Barbera (ninth). This trio also monopolizes the young ranking (born from 2001 to 2005), while in the aspiring ranking (2004 and 2005) Federico Romele (17th overall) stood out over Pietro Motterlini (25th) and Diego Bucciardini (30th).
Another slalom valid for all three categories of the Italian GP is scheduled for Saturday 15 January.
