A sensational blow, the one that brought Henrik Kristoffersen to Marcel Hirscher's stable for the great debut of the new ski brand “Van Deer” in the next World Cup season.
An ambitious project at the highest levels was needed, such as the one created last autumn by the Salzburg phenomenon a couple of years after his retirement from competition, to convince a champion like the Norwegian to leave Rossignol (after 18 years of militancy in the French house) to kick off a sort of second career.
“That with Marcel is a friendship born of a rivalry on the track, now the time has come to win together”, said the 27-year-old slalom giant from Lorenskog.
